Among my new work I’ll be showing are these two images of Pedro, a miniature donkey who lives at the same farm as Scotty the Scottish Highland bull. I took these photos last winter when there was a light snowfall in the pastures.

Both are shown here framed in Palladio wood frames. These were taken with my Hasselblad film camera and printed as silver gelatin photographs toned in sepia. You can get more details on the size and pricing at my website: http://joelandersonphoto.com/new

What I Did This Summer

One wife recovering from surgery plus one pet pygmy goat with what turned out to be a fatal illness plus a variety of darkroom equipment issues equals no Facebook or blog posts for quite a while.

Wife is doing better, goat has been sadly mourned and darkroom is running again which is good because I have a show this weekend in Mount Gretna PA and then begin a long run of shows. I’ll have new images up for sale on the website next week along with updates on the coal miner portrait project.

I hope everyone has had a good summer.
